At Rolates we believe that teaching classical, authentic Pilates is the best way to naturally balance the body. To this end we are dedicated to maintaining the original methods that Joe and Clara Pilates set forth.
Pilates conditioning requires dedication and commitment. Our promise to our clients is to teach conscientiously. This means never rushing you along until you are ready. Deceptively simple, Pilates conditions slowly and methodically while building strength, balance and posture. There are so many combinations of exercises that Pilates conditioning can be enjoyed for years with a variety of exercises.
Director Roberta Rose Kirschenbaum, a native New Yorker, is a former dancer. Working from this perspective we teach with a dancers view of grace, poise and line.
We are honored to be working in Joe and Clara Pilates' original living and working space. Rolates' 2000 sq. ft. studio has high ceilings, big windows and a warm, calming ambience. Sessions usually last just over an hour to accommodate a warm up and cool down period.

ReflexologyReflexology is a modality in which the reflexologist applies pressure to the feet in order to bring balance and harmony to the body. It can be used to relax the mind and body and decrease stress. You don't need an ailment to get reflexology, you just need tired feet. |
